Trolls
Fellas,
Beware its that time of year - the Trolls are out in force.
When someone comes on here and asks about the "plan" now that we voted down the TA feel free to remind them that:
1. The vote was whether or not you approved the TA. Period. There was not an option to input a Plan B with a No vote.
2. So contrary to the what the Trolls are putting out the vote was not this:
Yes - I approve the TA.
No - I disapprove the TA. (Note selecting this option will require the voter to submit a detailed "Plan B" because DALPA did not have a plan B).
3. DALPA is the entity that we pay to come up with Plan B. I think they forget MEMRAT has more than 1 outcome.
3. Many who voted "No" me included, are on record as saying we are in it for the long haul - if that means 3 months or 3 years, So be it.
So beware the new Forum members who on Post # 1 start asking us all "What our Plan is?"
I personally am quite Happy where we are - new MEC chair, new NC, not even at the amendable date yet and remember this, the company has many "wants," we do have leverage.
Oh yeah and any time someone comes on and starts whining how much money he/she is losing each month tell them that plenty of FOs are enjoying IOE trip drops. No one has to report to the department of sick leave adjudication, and most importantly tell them to enjoy their PS check which thanks to the defeated TA will probably be larger in February 2017 than in February 2016.

I don't know if it counts as trolling but Sailingfun is over on the DAL Poolie Info thread spreading carefully crafted deceit.
Sailing,
I wanted to respond to your post over on the poolie thread but didn't want to continue your hi-jacking attempt over there. Why don't you come back over here where folks have a chance to refute your inaccuracies? Seems kind of low to be spreading your BS on a thread where most followers may not have enough information to debate you.

The problem for sailing is we poolies have had 6 plus months to observe and aren't rocket idiots. The learning curve is steep, but it's pretty easy to see who cares about the younguns and who doesn't already.

Reminds me of posting about manning assumptions used by crew planning after contract 2012. I posted what crew planning said and asked people contact them and post what they said. Actually several people from here did but never bothered to post the answers they received. Strange they did not put the info out, isn't it!

Just thought I'd move this reminder over here on how bad sailingfun's record really is from the Poolie thread.
Predictions on 2012? Hiring?
Sailingfun 7-23-2012:
We were going to hire for the 717 unless Europe, where the "all growth" 717 wasn't going to fly, doesn't get stable. Something like this boat will never sink unless water is wet, then there's a chance.
Capncrunch 10-25-2012:
Quote from someone else: What does we also reduced the profit sharing going forward and that's an important part of helping to fund that cost growth?Capn: If you run that though the Slowplay ALPA Translator2012 BS machine, what he is really saying is we are going to hire, we are getting tons of new AC and nobody will be displaced.
Looks like Capn was not thinking we'd hire in 2012.
Did we hire in 2012-2013?
