SD TA discussion
I watched his base visit discussion regarding the TA a few days ago. It's on DeltaNet.
It was sickening. He's obviously attemting to negotiate around ALPA. I recommend we all watch it. He is NOT our friend. Make it a drinking game. Take a sip every time he makes a disingenuous or misleading statement. If you heard the same statement from DALPA during the sales job, take two sips. You'll be falling out of your chair by time he starts talking about profit sharing. You'll pass out by the end. |
SD TA discussion
He makes quite a point about how just a few abuse SL and why wouldn't we rather see that money distributed back to the pilots. What I missed was the calculated value of SL abuse and how much of our "raise" could be attributed to redistributing SL gains.
After PS swaps and the shuffling of SL dollars, our "raise" looks even smaller. |

We will function better as a UNION, when we learn to accept this: Management is and never was our friend. In any Business 101 class or first Managerial job, they instill upon you that you are not to patronize with your help. It is one of the most common traits and tools taught in BUSINESS. I know what Management is here to do and I do not fault them. I actually praise them for succeeding in most of their ventures with us and I completely am awwed by how many employees feel like RA is their buddy. Knowing the above, will help you not take Management's offerings of TAs like 2015 personal. TEN |

I went to the LAX base visit and I personally witnessed SD saying that RA had remorse over the TA after it was agreed to by the NC, saying that RA felt that he had offered us TOO MUCH MONEY. My jaw dropped. I cannot believe he tried to pull that on us. I don't think anyone in the room bought that tactic, but it was uncalled for. It was a lie. And I don't like when my boss lies to me.

Did anyone call him on his s--t or did everyone act like the typical pacifist pilot?

He's still the boss, no insubordination. The strength is in numbers and unity. But I think he knows how we feel. Social media is a powerful tool.
