You ask that question of a group that voluntarily cut their pay 40% and surrendered a pension because management....AND alpa told a scary story about what was going to happen in any event?

INCONCEIVABLE!

Our contract stipulates that management must give us 6 months to comply with any uniform change. So, for at least 6 months, you are good to wear the orange lanyard.

I had mine on, I saw about 20 out of 40 other pilots in/around the JFK lounge that also had theirs on. Just wear it.
Good info, thanks Timbo.

Got home from a trip last night and found my lanyard in the mail.

Wore my lanyard on my trip today.

Noticed about 20-30 percent wearing them in the ATL lounge today.

Personally, I didn't want to change my lanyard (was happy with current setup) but once DALPA took the shot I decided to back them up and provide cover.

Hope others do the same.

I haven't worn anything ALPA in 10 plus years... and with good reason! However.. For the first time in 18 years I see our union leaders and pilots on the same page.. Finally!! I'm in!

Contract amendable 31 Jan 15, so new contract takes effect 1 Jan 16. Retro pay would be to 1 Jan 16. NA15 was early. Just sayin. I'll still wear the lanyard though.

Got mine in the mail today. I support JM and the new MEC..I'll be wearing it on my next trip. Stand together, continue to do the job that has propelled us to the top, and give the NC the ammo they need.

Orange you glad I got my orange on?

I'll be here all day. In the corner.

Seriously though I have my retractable Id holder that I can't live without and luckily it easily went on new lanyard. I did the pimp walk in crew room showing it off. Huggy Bear ain't got nothing on my pimp walk.
