At a time when the company is making HISTORIC profits, due in part to our HISTORIC sacrifices, we should not settle for anything less than a HISTORIC contract!
They can afford it, obviously.

What worries me is, if the company tries to change our profit sharing formula to what they did to the non-contract people. Right now, we get 20% above $2.5 Billion. And you KNOW they want to make us just like the Non-Contract people.
What the non-con people now get is...20% of the profits that EXCEDE the previous year's profits. That's not good, especially if the company makes $10 billion this year. They would have to make much more than that in future years for them to get 20% PS.
If in the following years, the company only makes $9.5B or even less, WE would still be getting 20% of the amount of $2.5B, but the non-cons will NOT.
I believe they still will get 10%, but not 20% effectively they have cut their profit sharing in HALF!
Yes, they did get a 14% pay raise, but they PAID for that with the lost PS.

I'll wait to see the deal. If it's truly 18,4,4 with minimal PS giveback and zero changes to sick, JV language or OE FO bidding, I say it passes. Most would want something else yet I think would begrudgingly vote yes.
Time will tell.

Total bs.
The other 3 new reps in Atlanta would never vote for that and DPA would replace ALPA fast.
It is fun to look at hourly rates, but those are nothing without SCOPE.
Our execs JV pants are on fire. We need to lock up our share of the flying with rock solid examples and immediate penalties.
Our vacation is a joke. Delta 113:45 max. Southwest 210 hours max. FedEx 216 hours max.
On or around April 10th Delta will report eye watering earnings that will show we will make over $10 Billion PTIX in 2016.
Now is our time. We need the SCOPE, work rules, pension and ........hourly rates.
