Default Let The Informational Picketing Begin

Today's Deltanet violation of status quo by managment is about as insulting as it gets.

It makes it crystal clear management has zero respect for the Delta pilots.

Management is locked in to the past attempting to gain a zero sum agreement.

Their actions today must be met with the commencement of informational picketing.

Every one of us needs to call and write our reps and send this message.

Are you doing your part?

Take 10 minutes to make a difference.

Talk to your fellow pilots and ask them to do the same.

Adding a negotiations update tab on DLnet is not a violation of status quo... I hope that's not what you're getting at.

I'm sure you are right and I am wrong.

The point is we need to start picketing. Their words on that update were a kindergarten attempt to lower expectations and manipulate the process.

Yet again they are after concessions to force us to fix problems they alone created.

Our execs make tens of millions to run the air line. We don't ask Ed to fly our planes and he needs to stop asking us to cover his mistakes.

They need to hire more pilots. Buy more simulators and train more instructors.

The concessions atm is closed.

This message should be repeated loud and clear at every opportunity. Concessions in work rules are an attempt by management to cover for their own incompetence.

Not only did we warn management over and over to hire sooner, Steve Dickson and other managers were warning our execs as well.

This is not out problem to solve.

Ignore that update. Drink coffee. Go for a walk. Don't click on it again. Malone will keep us informed. And yes, count me in for picketing.

Making such claims cheapens your message. Clean up your shooting and you will get more respect.

Btw- that negotiations page has been on DLnet for months... it was just off to the side.
