UPS has longevity pay. We can't have that here. Everybody south of the 777 gonna lose. Or does a 717 CA deserve less than a UPS FO?

Keep in mind the hourly is based on 75hrs (28 day pay period) (13pay periods). Starting 9/1/16 $300/hr all 15 yr Cpt's ($292,500 base)
Thanks, Browniedriver. I keep shaking my head at the insulting TA they tried cramming down our throats last year. We would have been the laughing stock of the industry if we had voted that in.

I can't think of any reason we shouldn't be patterning off this UPS TA. It's a "homerun" (even though we are told homeruns are impossible.) But I'm sure the creative appeasers will be along shortly to tell us it's not possible.

They got a "signing bonus" NOT retro pay. How long have they been amendable?

Maybe one of the reasons things got moving industry-wide is because we did turn down the TA. If it had passed United would definitely have a different deal. That seemed to be the deal that broke the logjam.

How about we just cut and paste their contract? 99% pass tomorrow.

Are you ready for this, (a) we are hiring (b) PBS is an improvement and (c) we are getting new tablets. The last TA was a joke. Today's Dalpa email said the company won't talk pay rates. My motivation low light is on. The passion bucket is empty.

And they were in negotiations for years ... as if that has anything to do with here and now -- today.

Well, really, so were we. We voted to kick the can down the road in '12, and gave some concessions. Gave up some profit sharing. Sold on the short longevity of the contract. Almost gave more in '15. How is what we've done any different?
