Considering the short notice of the event, turnout was great. The upper end of the seniority list was represented well.
If you see pictures from the event, it looks like turnout was small. That is because a limited number of people were allowed on the street. A slight fudge factor was planned for active picketers to ward off any legal challenges.
The C44 chair and FO rep held "court" with many. I did not join in that conversation, though. A better description was posted on CC by one of the weller [sic] known posters over there. He is also active in FaceSpace, so you might be able to get his take there as well.

whoever is buying billboard space and issuing press releases needs to make sure and include surrendering the pension along with the pay cuts to save delta.
at a minimum...that is a NET $1B/year addition to the profitability bottom line....every year since bk and going forward.
