Last 4 of your SSN...highest number is most senior.

Is DAL the only one who does it like that? I was always under the assumption that the lower number was the most senior.

Majority of places do it by age. Oldest is most senior. Heard someone awhile back sued Delta for age discrimination and that's why they do it by SSN.

Thanks! I always heard that it was by SSN, lowest to highest. While I'm not a pilot, yet, it's nice to know that if I ever end up at Delta that I'd be towards the top of my class!

Maybe, my S/S was 79** and I was 23 out of 25. I think they switch around every 30 years so hurry up.
