How much PIC time did you have on your application just out of curiousity?

121 PIC was about 1900 hours give or take a few. I’d look, but I don’t know where my logbooks are nor have I logged anything since being at Delta.

Don’t over think things. I’ve met people in my situation and I have met 26 year old regional F/O’s that have landed a job here. If you want to work here, fill the application out in its entirety and publish it. Update it whenever you can and wait for your turn to go impress pilot selection by not being a total zero.

I don’t know what Delta’s secret is, but they tend to hire some cool guys and girls, myself included.

FWIW, training inst I know said that next month the 73 fleet lost 20 slots to the A220...so might see some of those offered up to the NH’s.

The 737 fleet is mature. The last deliveries are arriving so that is going to somewhat stabilize the seat churn.
The 220 and 320 are growth fleets. So that is where a lot of newbies are gona go.

He's referencing pilots that bid off the 737 potentially opening seats for new hires if no one else had bid for them.

This is correct. 737 is short staffed in NYC and ATL. I think ATL is -30 from where they want.

The NYC 73N is at 201 FO’s for May. Highest it’s been since I got here summer of 2017.

However, there are a bunch of junior FO’s they were awarded over bases in the smaller AE before the MOAB that will be moving NLT Aug which I believe is the end of that conversion window. So I expect noobs will still be getting NYC 73 this year.

Based on published routes? Or just a thought? I'm genuinely curious.
