Maybe, but they still have to see it and then post it. As an airline people view as caring with strong values, they took a strong hit on the front. My point was they hold their employees to those high standards pretty hard, not just at work but in the personal life, always about protecting the brand. And yet it was the uppers who dropped the ball and caused the brand to take a huge hit. Was just agreeing with the earlier post that even the top people make mistakes.

I’m sure it was a couple guys at Ford and Harrison who came up with that stupid, insulting poster. Delta got what they paid for. A scum bag operation, posing as a law firm with a strong history of aiding in union busting activities, produced an embarrassing product. It truly goes against all the rah rah rah, rules of the road, fancy propaganda Delta pays millions to produce every year that talks about our Company’s core values.

And someone in upper level management thought it might have value and distributed it to break rooms everywhere.

He's right, it was a management blunder.

Correct. Green slips with conflict for months on end = $1,000,000+ pilots (small minority) and several that cleared $500,000. Total screw up, so that answers “what about it?”.

Billions in fuel hedges. No one held accountable.

Just out of curiosity, how can they be held accountable for the market? It's a nice soundbite, but not practical.

Exactly. They were trying to save money, and just made the wrong decision. If it had gone the other way, they'd have looked like geniuses. Sometimes people/companies make mistakes! At least they made an effort though and are hopefully continually learning.

Actually one of the henchmen thought she should be rewarded with life-time flight bennies. The courts thought otherwise.
