Concessions/negotiations. Looks like management's concessions were a heck of a lot bigger than ours on this TA

Ronnie,
No worries, you are obviously not in the "No at all costs" crowd. If you think we will be better off with a No vote - you should vote No. This is how I felt last time and I voted No. I think we have done better this time but I see nothing but trouble with another No vote.
Yes - some things ring true but overall it is so slanted against the TA that it loses credibility in my mind.

Obviously you can tell I'm not a DPA fan. I think a lot of the information they put out is, if not outright false, very misleading. Their goal is to see this TA go down in flames and try to force a representation vote. Hence their spin. I also think they have been a huge detriment to the pilot group in this negotiation. Negotiations need unity across all demographics of pilots. We had that for the 2001 contract. We DO NOT have that now and I believe the DPA is a big reason for that.
I just read the first item in your post of their spin (I'm not accusing you of anything if you get that idea) and couldn't believe it. If that's an example of what's in the rest, I'm not going to waste my time reading and responding to it.

My lawyer Denny Crane speaks for me

Denny and I have flown together numerous times and discussed this very subject plus others over "several" beers. He is absolutely as analytical/unemotional in his analysis as you can get.
We have flown with lots of DPA guys or unDPA guys who just don't like ALPA and trust me, they will never support anything that ALPA negotiates. So, where does that leave us? The DPA document is probably a great con to ALPAs pro information. But, read it for what it is. It's a document from a group that wants this TA to fail so they can get a representation election. Nothing more, nothing less.

Would you rather have the Chief Pilot decide your fate? That's the way it works now.
Currently 13% of pilots do not get paid who call in fatigued. CPO decision.
With new TA:
1 - no longer have to fill out an ASR
2 - default to full rotation guarantee, vice no pay now until resolved
3 - CPO out of decision process
4 - When it goes before the board, a decision tie (2 ALPA, 2 company) it goes to VP of Operations and MEC Chair. Tie goes to the pilot.
Read NN 16-11
This is an improvement for us from the way it works now.
