Go back on read my posts on this thread. Then come back when you have the big picture.

Yours was the one that caught my eye. It was a comment not specifically aimed at you however. I mean good grief, for months it has been all this drama: "I'm voting no if _______." "This is insulting." "This is a slap in the face."

You know what is insulting? guys who are going to get a $50,000 retro check whining about having to pay $150 for a doctors' note once a year.

Uhh...yeah, we're all getting $50,000 retro checks - must have missed that in the pay rates. And you're right, that's all it could be is a doctor's note once a year. I think you know guys aren't *****ing about the $150 doctor visit (although it's a valid *****) so much as the requirement itself.

This is what I don't understand? Not trying to be obtuse. Never been the "sharpest tool in the drawer" but honestly, don't understand or can't comprehend how obtaining a verification from the clinic/doctor/hospital is somehow an egregious assault on our right's as a professional pilot?

I've heard the over-used "we fly thousands of people in multi-million dollar machines and SHOULDN'T HAVE TO .. blah, blah, blah..

How does any of the above make it such a grievous request by the Company? Maybe because people feel it offends their principle based actions of calling in sick, only when they're sick? Too bad everyone is offended by everyone else's offensiveness these days.

The hassle factor curbs behavior. This is about pushing not stopping abuse. Where do you go to verify a previous cold? I never go to the doctor for that.

How much are you pulling in??? Are you rolling thunder or something? My retro is going to be 35k, and I'll be right around 300 for the year.

I was talking about total compensation. My bad. But still the point remains.

It's much more than zero.

And no plan.
