We've elected a borderline illiterate with a high school diploma to be a secretary! I can't wait to read the meeting minutes.
Think they'll be in crayon?

Speaking of illiterate, are you the same guy who wrote a C66 endorsement letter (for the eventual loser) using the term "quid essential"?

Is there something you are not telling us about you?
As long as you don't make 3G landings and jam on the brakes, your past education is of no consequence to me.

Imagine being on the MEC, voting for TA1. Trumpeting TA1 to the tune of $2M in dues for all your buddies to sit in the lounges for a month. Only to see it voted down and the defeat led by a "borderline illiterate" without a college degree like you. Then, you survive recall by a whisker by using those same ALPA buddies to bring proxies and staging the recall meeting on a holiday. Then, you get to watch as a new TA shows up without loss of profit sharing and bigger raises. Still, you try to get back in power by attacking those who disagree with you and get kicked off chitchat and Facebook. But, you keep at it, endorsing another ALPA buddy for office (with a number of grammar/spelling errors in your endorsement letter). Your buddy loses.
Then you see a guy without a college degree rise to the highest position in the organization that will now want absolutely nothing to do with you.
That would be karma.
That would be amazing.

Curly's behavior over on Facebook has been comical but also disturbing.
How does he know all that personal information about other pilots?
Check ride busts, FAA certificate action, who got fired, private medical data, etc. etc. Names and dates.
The fact that he spews all that stuff on the Internet tells us all we need to know about his judgment but the fact that he has access to all that information in the first place tells us about the people who have been running the office over there.
It is clearly way past time to do some house cleaning at DALPA.
We need to put some guys in there who will get back to protecting Delta pilots instead of gathering dirt on them for political purposes.
Things really started to go in a bad direction with their secret black ops "special committee". Now those chickens have come home to roost.
Congratulations to Capt Bartels and sincere thanks to all those reps who saw the need for this change.
I don't think John Malone was a part of the "dark side" over there but I also don't think he was the right guy to clean it up.
He was a good choice to head the emergency salvage operation after the TA1 disaster and we should all thank him for that. But today is a new day.
I'm sure it was difficult, but I think the reps made the right decision to go in a new direction at this point. Hopefully Bill Bartels is up to the task of replacing a lot of the old guard and giving us a fresh start.
Oh, and now the old corrupt group is going to come after Johnson and Kern in Council 44 to try and get revenge. That'll be instructive.
I say bring it on. Those two reps will have probably 70-80% support from the line pilots.
