Exactly, everyone should be aware of who Elaine Chao's dad is and what he did to the shipping industry. He's the guy who led the Maritime industry into Flag of Convenience.

The problem with pilots denying the manufacturers their ULCC open skies boom, is it's a massive incentive for them to develop the pilot out of the aircraft.
So now, 1000's of regional to major rejects, will move to the front seat of the ULCC widebodies, whereas the major pilot moves to the front of the Cseries to fill that gap.

2/3 of that amount will go to the Global 7000, not the C-Series according to the article you posted.

Neither candidate ran on "vote for me and I'll specially shut down ME3/NAI" but the current admin, regardless of any other political position, might do something about it, and it might not. But worst case it'll be the same as what would have happened if the other had won.

There's nothing she can or will do that will be any worse than continuing the scourge of the previous admin or the other main candidate's potential admin. Scum of the earth like NAI and dual subsidized ME3/BoB scams were green lighted before this admin and would have remained so. I know that you know this, and so for some reason you're trying to turn the potential into this admin doing exactly what the other one would have done into rhetorical capital to bulwark your other political positions.

NAI has zero leverage, and any one legacy airline could bury them with extreme prejudice, with extreme ease, and not even move the needle of their insane profits. All of them together could bury that pig almost instantly if they wanted to. But this is about the long term precedent of the FoC cancer. So how will they come up with enough money to bribe/distract the US Airline industry? They can sneak some under the table to mask NAI maybe, but not the 50 other scab airlines just like them that will start popping up if they are allowed.

Right, and the corruption and nefarious intent of BA is no secret. They are absolutely pillaging the USA on all fronts, from screwing us with ridiculous slush fund programs like the POSF-35 (which they instantly slashed 5M per copy off the price from a single tweet) to all the other "platforms" that they build in almost every congressional district. But NAI isn't really about NAI, and there is zero leverage wrapped up in 20 787's. Their big prize is the raping and sellout of the entire US Airline industry so that BA can split the order books for a one time manufacturing run which, when it settles out, we'll have many tens of thousands fewer good paying jobs.
