Question: Has Endeavor advanced to AQP or are you guys still doing checkrides?

Recurrent CA and FO are AQP

Initial upgrade is AQP

Question.. can someone explain how Endeavor does AQP? What’s this no check ride talk? No oral?

It’s check rides basically split into phases or gates where you’re evaluated at the end of each.

SV systems validation - systems written test
PV procedures validation
MV maneuvers validation
LOE line oriented evaluation, like a loft but it is a jeopardy event.

There is a 15 question oral that begins the LOE. Some very simple questions about systems logic and limitations etc (all practical stuff, like how do you perform a bleeds closed takeoff...keep the apu on, or what does the 1/2 button on the radio tuning unit do, what happens when you press the engine fire push light). Have heard of a few people failing the oral but if you spend lots of time going through the cockpit poster and knowing what every switch or button does you’ll be fine. All the questions are “FAA approved” so there are gouges out there that have all the questions.
