You'll have better luck waiting for a flow.

As a NY 900 FO, dropping reserve days is doable if you don’t mind being a Flica addict. As a NY 900 CA, as they say in NY, forgetta about it. Of course this could all change when people start moving for the new vacancy and TA base consolidation.

Correct. 81 original 900s, and the 28 ASA 900s listed by tail number are confirmed through the end of 2026. Much like our prior fleet commitment, it's only a floor and we can operate far above that number.

700s are coming (and earlier than originally planned), just not part of the fleet commitment. It's only for 76-seat aircraft.

Realistically, if you upgrade immediately expect to be on reserve for years. At least 1-2. There are so many FO's that will upgrade and keep bumping you back down. Such is the life of a "Street Captain". And we also have a whole group of FO's that have been bypassing upgrade that may start getting 'nudged' into the left seat soon.

As has been said, dropping reserve days is doable but very very hard. I was about to drop almost all of November last year, but we were super fat and I basically just lived on flica.

Good place to come and get that quick upgrade money, but get comfortable on reserve.... Good news is, this place uses reserve captains like crazy. So you won't spend much time in the crash pad.

Dropping reserve as FO is possible if you are constantly watching flica, if you are a captain, all you will be doing is breaking guarantee with 11 (soon 12) days off a month.

We are looking for about 10 700s to come on and I believe there is talk about some WEST flying on the 700s. Can anyone confirm? The WEST talks suggests nothing about a new base, mind us.

Default 700s

Don't like to talk about our expansion at another carriers loss but in mx we are hearing a total of 25 700s.. the 3 from ev and 22 more from another carrier.. hint.. gojet has 22 700s they operate for dl.
