Can someone tell me what kind of headset most crews use? Any recommendations to where I can get one for a reasonable price. Anyone selling their old headset? Thanks.

I use the DC Pro X, even convinced one capt I flew with to get one in CVG. Most guys use the Telex 850 though. David Clark has always made good products as well as having good customer service. I'm just a little over 2 years using the DC Pro X and haven't had any problems with it.

I also use the DC pro x. Love it.

I did a comparison of basically every tso'd headset on the market back a few months ago in the main forum. Can't find it right now.... But if you're tight on cash, get the Telex 850 off eBay. If you have a little to spend, try and get a DC pro x. It's really fantastic. Used Bose are all over the never too if you really want, but I'm not a fan of their customer service.

In my short time with the company, I’ve seen people with these headsets in order of most seen to least.

DC ProX
Telex 850
Clarity Aloft

I’ve got the DCs and really like them.

Love my DC Pro X as well. Had telex 750s before and they worked fine but they were getting worn out.

I just used what I had which happened to be Bose X’s for the last 10 years.
