just as a data point for anyone concerned. I’m am considering a DEC position at one of the regional (4,000hrs CRJ) and have applied to a few so far. Most of the other regional have contacted me relatively quickly and set up a phone screen or interview. Endeavor sent my a link to fill out another application containing all the information I had already filled out on airline apps, as well as a pilot supplement to provide the information I had already filled out on airline apps and the second application. Frankly, I couldn’t be bothered.

4000 hours? Have you applied to legacies yet? Or even like JetBlue or a ULCC? AA has been calling everyone with a pulse lately.
if you’re waiting for the call I get it, everyone’s got bills but if not, you’re very qualified to just been looking at regionals

Getting an FO upgrade eligible requires 1000 hours of someone sitting in the left seat next to them. If you are losing CAs and senior FOs faster than you are maturing the remaining FOs you are in an unsustainable negative feedback loop. Right now a lot of regionals are in that situation.

If, on the other hand, HR is doing this intentionally to weed out some applicants, then bravo, it works.
