Run you around to both airports, one day one place, one day another. How about NYC airport reserve? Yep, on my schedule. Do I get to choose? Min rest after CDOs to cover more P3 and, airport reserve, at either place, with a duty also already assigned. Constantly sending you messages. I do not think anybody thought the consequences of this out. NYC should get an additional stipend in the very least. Personally, I think the company, or at least crew scheduling, is abusing this.
It appears the union has at least stopped this fire break madness.
The new contract was a give away and we will be paying for it dearly.

We’re talking about a guy who has been here less than 6 months. If he were to talk like this in the cockpit, I would hope some of the senior CAs in this company would slap him silly and set his whining in order. You know, the guys who sat reserve for years, upgraded/downgraded/upgraded/downgraded, got paid a pittance to work twice or three times as much as he does today.
Rode the van to the hotel tonight with a CA who has been here for 19 years and is on RSV. Now HE has earned the right to complain about things.

Is that I believe they are abusing the intent and language in the scheduling section. No, I didn't get to vote for it. I've been doing this long enough to know. I get being on Reserve, hell, some bid it on purpose but to get abused is just wrong no matter what. I don't think I'm in the minority at all. I flew with a Captain that has six grievances already over scheduling issues. Must just be two of us then. I do my job, like many others, on a daily basis and don't complain on the job. There are many who have done this before at other places and bring a wealth of experience but did not sign up to get abused by crew scheduling particularly Reserve. I did not say I didn't like it here, I just don't think scheduling is working with us and things need to be fixed is all. Btw, I am not on BookFace.

Get over this. Welcome to the airlines, sounds like maybe this career isn’t for you if you don’t like sitting reserve this bad. But for real go over to envy threads and ask them About their reserve QOL. Seriously do it.

"I’ve sat ready reserve 7 times this month. It’s all I’ve done for the last 2 weeks. This is starting to get out of hand. I would like to see the max limit in the next LOA go from 10 to like 2. Even mainline flight attendants are maxed out at 2, or at least at AA
They’d rather break apart trips and give them to people bidding last call then just assign it to a reserve that wants to fly and give them ready instead".

Go to envoy. I heard they don’t abuse people over there a flight attendant told me. She said you’ll flow to mainline in 18-24 months.
