Default Hiring and Moral

Hello all. Reading through a few forums but figured best to consolidate my questions here. Currently fly for another 121 typed in the RJ (2/7/9) and looking to move to Endeavor or Republic. Besides being typed and near ATL (live in SC) wanted to get insight on chances of being picked up? Also wanted to ask about moral esp on the reserve side. I appreciate the post for DOH/ line, but how many hours is a typical reserve pilot logging out of ATL?

Thanks in advance

Moral? Morals vary greatly from person to person, but most pilots here have a good sense of what's right and wrong... Oh, you meant morale? Depends on who you talk to. The new guy that just got his sign on bonus or the old crusty guy that got f'd in the bankruptcy and merger.

All joking aside, Endeavor is one of the best regionals to work for. It is still a regional, so by definition, that makes it a bad airline to work for. We have good (for the regionals) pay and work rules. ATL FOs on the 200 fly quite a bit and CAs fly all the time. Most 900 guys are kept decently busy too.

Default Autocorrect is a B*t&ch

Yes I need to proofread before posted. Didnt realize that the forum doesn't let you edit after a certain time. Fat fingers just accepted what auto correct had as I was typing on my phone. Better than usual, as my siri or auto correct usually likes to put curse words in place of some of the words I type.

Your chances for getting hired are excellent. Our current (new) requisition states hiring 1070 pilots is the goal. Fleet growth? Likely.

Think it’s on the internal company job postings. Guessing this is through 2019 and beyond. I do know 60/month is goal for every month into the future going forward. Good luck to all, and get your IFR skills up if you don’t have any.

Moral is good when not in bankruptcy.

Forget stepping to regionals. You are experience-qualified for JB, NK, Allegiant, Frontier and a little kept secret; Sun Country. Go for those. Don't stay regional.
