Yeah that’s all great from 100 miles out. However when you’re on a base leg at 11,000’ and they switch your runway which happens, I don’t see the slightest need to monkey with an FMS. It’s really pretty simple to tune a LOC and track it. Minimize the opportunity for error.

We’ll see if they ever even do triple simultaneous approaches. Airport seems to run excellently on 2 approaches. It’s DTW not ORD or ATL...
