The “200 reserve pilots fly more” info was true for the last 12 months but who knows how the next 12 months will be. There is zero reason other than crew resource imbalance that is the case and you can bet the company is trying to level things.
Advantages to 900- longer flights, more days off for lineholders (15-18 is typical versus 12-15), occasional meal flights.
Advantages to 200- no firebreaks in nyc, yet (not sure if the schedule is robust enough to do it), more junior aircraft on the captain side, lots of 30 hour overnights if those are your thing.

On the 200 you will be in training for about 6 months but much more flying once you finish IOE.
