Paid enough to do so? No.

That is still referencing the study that American pilots aren't monitoring the automation.

That discussion really doesn't have a side for you to pick, but you can relay to everyone weird information about yourself that can only be categorized as "TMI" in your awkward way of drawing attention.
That’s rich coming from you. Seeing your posts on the DAL side, sounds like you too moved on and hang out at the old place. Btw, seeing that post above about flying the 1900 and Saab for 4000 hrs and not knowing the DTW crowd, it’s clear which part of the old guard you were. I think you have a sick obsession that can’t just answer a question or let things go.

Anyway. The comment about hand flying and “saving it” almost always means an unstable approach that should have been discontinued/go around. They are salvaged, but at what cost? Being 200 kts with one notch of flaps and gear up at 1200 AGL and then landing gear down, flaps full, within the touchdown zone may sound like the pilot got it done, but with power at idle all the way to touchdown it isn’t exactly worth celebrating that this guy was willing to click it all off.

Sounds like a question for the MECs negotiating committee.

You aren't still stalking guys outside the dtw crew room elevator are you? You remember what happened last time? No means no.

I'd love to see how a pilot at 1200 with that situation gets it stable by 500, but if they get it done then what are you complaining about?
