Default Odds on CVG in training

Thinking of applying tomorrow. Was told by a recruiter I can expect to get CVG in training. I guess it’s not a popular place. Can anyone give me educated odds on this or are they just telling me what I want to hear?

if you get the 900 then most likely CVG or NYC. If you get the 200 then NYC. You are seat locked as an FO for 18 months. So if you get the 200 then no chance of MSP or CVG for 18 months as they are 900 base only.

On the latest finalized vacancy, which posted and was finalized in January, a January hire was awarded CVG 900 FO, and there were CVG 900 FO positions available for new hires. However, the above comment about getting assigned to the 200 in training and then seat locked for 18 months is worth further insight if you're looking at Endeavor, as CVG is a 900 base only. That's a conversation worth having with the recruiter. I'm not sure how they're splitting the new hire classes between the 200 and 900 these days, or if they're doing entire classes to one fleet and entire classes to the other.

The Feb 18th class was given CVG 900 FO, but past results don’t predict future results.

My advice to the OP: This is a good place to work and glad to have you. Come here expecting exactly what you don't want, as it pertains to base and aircraft assignment. Recruiters don't lie, but neither do used car salesmen.

You will get CVG eventually. You may get it right away. You are better served if you come here ready for otherwise.
