Quote: Thats fine. The less that leave for elsewhere, the better my chance of getting a CJO are. They stay, I go. AA, UAL, and SWA are going to hire someone. Works for me.
Oh I agree. Better odds for myself to get a call from UAL or AA.

Side note how about gojet paying 180k for DEC year one...😳. 80k in bonuses and $104 an hr as a 10 year longevity

Quote: You have to have your two weeks' notice in by now to separate on good terms, so the company (and this insider, apparently) already know how many are leaving for the whole month.
So being on good terms depends on the time of month you send your notice in?

If you want to get hired back in case something goes sideways, then yeah, it does.

“Eligible for rehire” also is a line on PRIA that goes to the new employers. Could not giving two weeks affect that?

Just so we’re clear. Person A sends their two weeks in at the beginning of the month and person B sends it in towards the end. They both give the company 2 weeks but one of the two is now persona non grata?

I think the point was when person B is giving their two weeks at the end of this month, then they're resigning next month, not this month.

exactly. it’s not that they aren’t in good favor, it’s just the date of resignation counts toward next month.

and with JB having another window open, I bet there are several takers next month. And I also know several with CJOs for AA, UAL and DL that don’t have class dates yet. The bonus may slow things slightly, but it won’t be drastic.

This is what I meant. The company counts separations by date of actual separation, not date of notice. So they know by ~16th of each month how many total are leaving that month, as any notices received beyond that point count towards next month's separations.

No way. I don't believe that's true.

Yep, I'm right. I just downloaded the form. No such line.

So what's your game, dude? Fear and misinformation?
