Default ATL Base as DEC

Are there DECs holding ATL as a base? If I were to come on board in November, how long to hold ATL as base?

The most junior captain in Atlanta is a 2018 hire. No chance you get it as a new hire. How long will it take to hold Atlanta? Who knows.

That is a big help - live in ATL, no desire to commute to NY - will look at CLT base with another airline.

If you have the time to be a DEC, you have the time to get on with Frontier or Spirit or probably even Southwest. All have Atl bases. Why look at a regional??!!

You are not going to get ATL as a DEC. There is zero chance of that happening. You will be commuting to NYC to sit reserve, indefinitely. The "2 years to flow" is made up recruiter math. You are better off going to any major airline if you have the qualifications to be a regional CA.
