Endeavor Logo

Since the Pinnacle to Endeavor thread has gone WAY south, I thought a new thread might be useful...

Who has seen the potential logos? Which do you prefer? Do you think the first logo looks like a Kotex logo? Do you wish there was a "none of the above" choice?

(please keep the dipping debate on the other thread)

Bartok 06-07-2013 03:32 PM

The Kotex symbol is way better than the squiggly e.

Any chance one of you guys could post the choices?

My mgmt? I don't work for Pinnacle. The only guy coming over from DL is Barry Wilbur, and I will say he is a true class act.

That being said, I think the smiley face on it gives a very positive vibe. :)

Who cares about the logo. I want to know what ShyGuy has to say next. I bet it'll be awesome.

I've already seen the new navy and grey uniforms. I got a sneak peak. They look slick.

Navy and Grey? Triple breasted or pinstripe?

So if Shuttle America and Endeavor merge...will we again see "Shuttle Endeavor"? :D

That would make the callsign Mercury's Flagship.

I could care less about the new name or these alleged slick uniforms!
We recently took huge concessions, and we aren't getting anything back for SEVEN years...at least. Then it will be a few more before we get a new JCBA. So, we're looking at at least 11-12 years before ANYTHING contract related improves around this dump. Anyone believe this place will be around that long??? This is the last contract Pinnacle will see!!!!:eek:

ALPA can have their rah rah go ALPA sessions all they want around here, but the facts remain!! All our union does now, at least it seems, is talk more about Delta than Pinnacle, er Endeavor. They scared 85% of our pilots to vote in this crap, and now *gasp* our dates on losing airplanes are going back further and further.

Nothing is ever going to get better around here, and here we are about to wear these "Delta like" uniforms!! I don't get paid enough to put up with any crap, let alone start putting up with more crap!! I'm tired of caring, because caring has gotten me and my fellow pilots nowhere!!

Crotchless with the backdoor open and used.

Maybe the Mods can answer this but is it ok for someone to use a picture of our chairman, guessing with out their permission, as their profile picture?

Maybe I am just in a bad mood right now But I am getting really irritated by the people that still work here and are still complaining about the pay cuts. They suck we all get it but lets move on. If you think they are so bad that this is all you can talk about maybe it is time you quit so you stop taking such a small pay check. I guess back to complaining about the company, you choose to work for, for the next 100 pages.

I suggest you look up some members who have Moak as theirs. If the mods want me to change it I will BUT I don't see what the problem is.

Edit. For the sake of crabby pants I'll take it down until I hear it's fine...

Navy and grey? Maybe you saw the old Mesaba uniforms. I doubt we are getting new uniforms since Delta wants us to be indistinguishable from mainline albeit at substantially lower pay.

I did not mean to start a war with you. I am just asking if it is ok because I do not think it is to have pictures of other pilots as our profile picture. But if it is ok then so be it, it was a question because I do not know the answer and I do not feel like going though all the terms of service to see if it is ok.

Salukipilot4590 06-11-2013 09:58 AM

Option 1 looks slightly better but option 2 is more compact.

I'm going with option 1

Didn't mean to either. All in good fun my man. Relax a little ;)

O and #1 gets my vote... Its like having to choose between Anna Nicole Smith or Kim Kardashian though.

You mean like a care facility? Judging by the age of some of our captains that might be appropriate!.......BaaaaaZING!!!!

Vandal 06-13-2013 08:16 AM

On a slightly different note: rumor has it that we might be hiring this fall? How does attrition look like? Are a lot of people jumping ship at the higher end of the seniority list now? When I went on military leave over a year ago most people anywhere near the bottom of the FO list couldn't leave fast enough. Anyone hear anything?

The Hotline on the 10th gave numbers on attrition and fleet plane. A net loss of 16 airplanes by the end of the year and anticipated attrition of 168 pilots. Almost works out perfect for the company.

Under presently known fleet plans and attrition try 2016.

Lots of simulator training going on in both Minneapolis and Toronto. New airplanes arriving this fall. If attrition exceeds staffing demands, they will hire. :)

"if" attrition exceeds staffing. Sure. And what is going to cause attrition to exceed staffing? 2,000+ pilots for 150ish airplanes by the end of the year? Transition training for the -200 to -900 will be drastically shortened once the fence is down. I just don't see it happening without additional equipment contracts.

CarolinaAngler 06-13-2013 07:23 PM

Keep hearing that if they can get the fences down there is a good shot at the gojet 700's. Union denies it, but we all know how that works.

HIREME 06-15-2013 05:59 AM

I know for a fact a certain manager said we will have to hire OR get rid of airframes sooner if attrition keeps up. Now, this was said a few months ago and my understanding is attrition has slowed considerably from its highs of 60+. I wouldn't be surprised if an upgrade class or 2 happens by the end of the year. Contrary to popular belief, more CAs are leaving than FOs.
Also, remember many majors begin interviews and pick up hiring in the fall. A late hiring class at the end of the year isn't out of the question. Also, how are we losing a net of 16? We do lose 16 AC but we also are taking deliveries of 900s starting in Sept, I thought.

Who would be dumb enough to go to 9E with 200s going away and the near rock bottom payscale?

Don't know, but we know 85% voted yes for that. I think the Pinnacle contract with Delta passed by a wider margin than Delta's own contract ... go figure.
