Okay, not sure where you're going for here, but my post was simple. Yes, an overwhelming amount did vote it in, but 15% (including myself) said no way. If you want to resent the whole pilot group be my guest, but my biggest fear is that it won't get you anywhere. Yeah, your odds of hitting a bullseye are pretty good if you hate the whole group, but just remember that there are some among us who proudly voted no and still care about our profession and skill set. I want this to be a good career (too late now, no fault of my own) for everyone. I knew this would affect other carriers and believe it or not, I still give a *******. That's why I voted no. Resent me all you want, but you're wasting your time. I'm not your enemy, I'm with you.

So looking at this new Delta AE and the new DTW 717 base. How many people @ 9E think since Delta loves them so much that they opened the base just for them in preparation for the staple.

Not saying I agree with this or denying anyone a jumpseat but....
After Richard Anderson's little gem about rate resets last week, you cannot deny that the decision by the 9E pilot group affects every other pilot group so it is very understandable why there is great anger out there towards 9E pilots.
You guys voted for this, so you have to take the heat for your decision and its affect on other pilots. Just as you had a right to make your decision, other pilots have a right to be very angry with its affect on their careers.

Eagle just voted it down trying to set an example ending the race to the bottom. A bottom your group dug deeper and it could come at Eagles own expense... We'll get our vote, and I can tell you there are A LOT of guys that will not entertain the thought of a Pinnacle pay scale, myself included...

Correct. The reality is that the current regional business model is crumbling. So the regional CEOs keep dropping the price of their services, thereby thinning the profits.

I think you're starting to see why so many voted yes to the current 9E contract. If you work at eagle, then management comes to you and tells you to be cheaper, more in line with 9E. Which is a ploy to scare you, but 9E has nothing to do with eagles flying period. Management already has whipsaw options to use against you and 9E isn't one of them. You'd hate to see that flying or those aircraft given to another carrier and you out of a job. It's obvious you're a little frightened already, but if you ever get a chance to vote, I'm sure you will say no. I did, and those who have the careers best interests at heart will do so also. Because we'd rather be out of a flying job than to be a slave to one that doesn't treat us what we're worth.
