You will get it, it just might not be immediately. As others have said, expect to get LGA2 or LGA/JFK9 initially. If you want ATL, bid for it obviously but make LGA2 your next option so you don't have to switch from the 900 to the 200 (and incur a seat lock).

A lot of people want to get back to DTW, the 200's the way to go. 900 DTW is almost impossible so nobody wants the seat lock.

Unless I have bad info, one could sit 900 CA in NYC and wait for a 200 CA opening somewhere else like DTW or ATL if they want. I thought you only get seat locked if you move to a lower paying position (900 to 200)?
