While we’re having the good ideas, why don’t we close NYC instead and crew all that flying from MSP?

Or why don't we close ATL so we don't ever ever have to deal with that place ever again?

Seriously?? I've been based in NY and ATL. I've done several TDY's to both MSP and DTW, and id take ATL over any of them! Everything works! All the frequencies line up. You know exactly what to expect. It basically never snows, and when it does everything cancels and you just ride it out in the hotel. The cleaners actually (pause for dramatic effect) clean the planes!! DTW is probably my best choice just because it's less congested. But msp can turn into a dumpster fire in no time flat.

Not go mention there's like a million decent food options in atl. I can't stand the food options in msp (everything is over priced) or dtw (why are there only like 10 restaurants in the entire airport, half of which are crazy expensive)

And yes, nyc as a baseb sucks. Not arguing that

How about this? You can have ATL, and I'll keep NYC. Deal?

Anyone else notice the part in the FOU about maximizing block and minimizing credit on five days?

Yep. 5 days are about to get a lot more busy. And it seems they're eyeing a monthly bump to that credit window.

I think we're officially understaffed again

That’s when good things start to happen. Negotiating leverage. Bring on the 200% above 85 hours and 200% all month.

Minimizing credit you say? That makes me glad we have the 25 hour minimum credit on em.

It takes allot of work to actually block 25 hours on a 5 day, in NYC at any rate. I wonder how they are planning on pulling this off?

Probably by making them a whole lot less commutable.
