That was last month. This month and next month has lot more pilots on reserve as the summer new hire classes make it out to the line. Plus, November saw a decrease in number of lines in ORD. Currently, there are about 46 pilots on reserve in ORD. Expect more to be sitting reserve as more the summer hire to trickle in as they get their IOE completed and number of lines don't increase commensurately.

If the company knows about the prior 121 time.
You'll get hired and go to FO training.
More than likely at some point while your still in training or on FO IOE, the next captain vacancy will come out.
You will then be displaced into the most Jr Captain status. Likey New York Captain (small) Embraer.
You'll enter captain training at some point in the near future, with little if any FO company experience.
You will likely remain on reserve at the bottom of the captain list for a long time.
Every FO who was hired before you, who either is delaying their upgrade, or waiting to get their 1000 hrs company time who will upgrade after you will immediately jump in front of you on the captain list. Setting you up for perpetual reserve. (Think years not months)
Being junior on reserve is brutal. I just hope you live in NY. Because if you don't, your going to end up commuting in a day early for all your reserve days because you won't be able to get out of the company's default 4am rap. That will put you with only 7 real full days off a month, and that's if your lucky enough to finish your trips on the last day early enough to commute home.
