it depends on the carrier you are using. outbound from US, cost around $95, inbound to US $130 - $190(depending on country)

this is all correct, i only offered ZED as an option because he mentioned international carriers. the only info i know about traveling on these carriers is via ZED fair

You aren't going to be able to jumpseat on CV, CX, KE, etc. They are not Us carriers and therefore don't have CASS, nor is their any jumpseat reciprocity. Welcome to the commuting life, it's time to learn to be creative. Don't always go for non-stop flights. Connect if you have to in the network. I know a lot of DFW to LGA commuters will connect in places like BNA, ORF, or PIT. You'll figure it out.

I should have been a little more direct with my post - I'm commuting out of Anchorage.

Its not that I haven't been able to figure out how to commute through Seattle, MSP, MEM or PDX to get to DFW - the trouble is that it turns a 6 hour commute into a 12 - 14 hour commute because everything leaves AK as a redeye. Worse yet, if I have an early show I need to show up a full day early when I have a second leg I (not the case with the direct flight).

If I could jumpseat on KAL from ANC direct to DFW then that would be a game changer for me. I'll look into ATLAS - I may have to show up in person at their office to figure out how to learn their schedules and procedures, but it'll save a lot of headaches if it works. FedEx treated me great, but the commute from MEM to DFW was full of commuters and it was hard to get to DFW by 1400 after leaving Anchorage at 8pm the night before. The struggle is real :cool:

Atlas are great to jump seat with, especially heading overseas on their long routes.
