I put on application I was ready to start employment in 6 months from that date, (maybe that is why they denied me). No criminal history etc etc. (had 3 failures before, one of them was a type rating failure it was my first jet initial but then went there after a week did 1 sim session and passed it, and the other 2 were commercial single and commercial multi a long time ago) I don't know if their computer algorithm knocked me out for that or what. My question is, can I apply again after certain time and if yes, am I blackballed because of what happened last year when I applied? Now, when I apply, if I can re-apply, I will be ready to start class as soon as they call me. Different than when I applied last year I said I could start 6 months from that day.

Also, any news on the MIA base for new hires??

I am looking to leave 135 position to finally seek a career in 121 with a flow to AA. Please, advice anyone?

Thanks - Fly safe!

Re-apply and see how it goes. Piedmont won't take you with 3 failures on your record (at the moment) but PSA will so apply to them as well.

Once you get a contingent job offer, your file goes to a Captain review board and they have the final say. I'm almost positive the problem is the checkride failures. They've always been big on that. As the other guy said, look into PSA. There have been a number of guys that we turned down for checkride failures that were successful at getting on over there.

One of the guys there that were coordinating our biometrics that day did say it shouldn't be a problem as long as there weren't excessive checkride failures. I think you are right. I did email them again though and asked if I could reapply. Some people told me they also like persistence and with so many regionals out there they would like to see someone in my position to try to get in again. Any feedback on that? Do you think they will look another way if I apply again around next year? It would be 2 years later after my initial application. I currently fly a G4 all over the world for the same Boss for 3 years now and never had a other failure..

Thanka for your feedback

I'm not a recruiter so I don't know how they view all of that. I'd recommend just reaching out to a recruiter directly and explaining the situation. I'd email them, explain the situation and your goals, and see if you can get someone to call you and chat with them. [email protected]
