I like the pay band. You choose the aircraft for your needs and not for the paycheck. Full disclosure, I’m a 145 captain getting 175 pay.
How about having just one CA pay rate across the fleet to prevent chasing equipment for higher pay rates in a given ac type. And I’d guess that most that look at the pay rates on APC do not realize that they will only be getting the lower CA pay rates when they upgrade. Very misleading IMO, and when compared to EDV rates, the margin is actually worse than it would appear to a perspective pilot weighing the pay between ENY and EDV because they are likely comparing the ENYs large RJ CA rate to EDV instead of what they would actually be getting, the smaller RJ rate due to the pay banding. |
Gotta be around seniority number 500 to get the higher CA band.

And as a potential NH, right now, I would probably go to EDV. For a NH already on property at Envoy, I guess it could be worth it to jump ship. |

Good news is Union work is in process. As a pilot group we must make our voice heard. Why work here when you can make over 30 grand or more somewhere else doing the exact same thing. People are not blind, management knows this, just trying to mum it as long as possible. That's why you should contact rep and voice your opinion. |

Had to divide the groups into parts to get the stuff done. Again, it's what I was told from a group of new hires. I think if they are filling multiple classes of 60 a month, where is the slowing growth?

Envoy Pay Raises
It also wouldn’t hurt for everyone to voice your opinion to management in a respectful well thought out email. Their contact info is easy to find on the website. It may not yield results but at least they’re aware of the pilot groups opinion. Better than just posting on the forums.
