How is it decided what routes get flown by mainline vs regional?
easy. Basically from a passenger comfort, the E175 is far superior to that pre historic S80 crap. Slowly we are doing what the S80 is doing.

I hope the trend continues!

If the 175 is doing what the s80 used to do then what’s the 319 doing?

Looks like AA pilots are standing their ground and not flying on Christmas even with offered double pay. AA IS GOING TO BE IN A PICKLE!

Default AA uncovered sequences

As of today we have approximately 1452 sequences designated as premium that are uncovered in all domiciles from Dec 23rd to Dec 31st. This number has remain largely unchanged since the 200% LOA went into effect.

This is why I booked a Delta ticket home even though I have AA status.

The best part about all of this, I’m guessing it doesn’t matter how much they offer. AAG treats it’s employee so bad, they’d take a pay hit just to give the middle finger. And I love it! What if this happened at LUV? I’m guessing nay a flight would be canceled, and crews would be willing to help. And they wouldn’t insult them with a 150% then 200%. They’d come out the gate swinging for the fences.

I thought if you treat your people right when the times are good, and they will go to bat for you when times are bad?

If what your saying is true. The optics will not go well with mainline pilots, press and court of public opinion will be horrible for APA.

That's not what it's about. You can spend years and years at a legacy and not get the holidays off. This is the first chance in a long time for many of those people to spend Christmas with their families. They are mainline pilots, they don't need any extra cash. So how does Joe the pilot explain to his wife and kids that he won't be home for Christmas because he wants to pick up a 200% trip they don't need?
