Default Rf 100 vac ????

Ok, trying to figure out how to trade my assigned vacation week for a useful one.

I enter RF 100 VAC, press TAB to cycle through the entry fields... and whenever I tab over to SEND and press enter (using my EFB) it does nothing. I just get some white letters in the upper right corner that say: “ReEnter”.

Should it somehow register that I sent the message? Or what? I have tried enabling “Carriage Returns” in settings... I’ve tried pressing “reset” before filling in the fields... I’m at a loss. How do I submit this thing?!

I could be wrong but I think you have to hit...

HOME
RESET
RESET

Then tab through the fields. Give that a shot, or maybe someone can correct me.

RF messages are a pain.

Start with a completely clear screen (RESET and CLEAR).
Type RF 100 VAC
Press HOME, RESET, RESET, TAB
Fill in the form by pressing TAB between the fields.

If it goes through correctly, it should say DONE after you submit.

Good luck!

Couldn't agree more. I break out in a cold sweat whenever I log into DECS.

On the EFB (and on my iPhone) I do not see a “Home” button. Just, RESET, TAB, CLR, four weird symbols, and the Info button.

Where’s “Home”?

It’s at the bottom of the screen on my EFB.

Well, turning my iPhone to Landscape instead of Portrait mode (horizontal instead of vertical) let me see the HOME button.

When I did it this time and hit enter... it at least printed a green “End” after my message? So maybe it sent it?

I hope so!

Is there a command to view my VAC request? Like there is to view your bid request?

You have to tilt your phone sideways to get all the buttons.

This 100%. What an antiquated system.

DECS may be old, but you can do so much with it. Learn it and love it!
