Just when you think you start to understand what the company has planned, they prove once again they don’t even know what’s planned. For them to park planes means they have not been awarded as much flying as they forecasted. They have enough CAs and FOs to staff more growth, look at the reserve numbers. Something isn’t adding up and by leaving the pilot group in the dark will only lead to negative rumors. The Union needs to start communicating with it’s pilot group better.

I think they are far from having enough captains.

Not even close. Way short on CAs and their HVA deal isn't paying off at all.

Can confirm. Had a class date in May and was told today that my class date has been pulled from me and that I am in a “pool” to wait on an available date. Pretty disappointing since I turned down other offers (Endeavor) to come to Envoy since I live in DFW. Oh well, welcome to the airline industry I guess.

Time to hit the job fairs and get out of here, I am hearing the sound of the flow valve being closed.

What about the sim instructors they hired from the street? Do they get displaced too?

Nope. They're safe.

They cost less.

I wonder if they are fixing to furlough 145 new hire guys?

That would be suicide. Cheaper to open the flow flood gates and much much better for PR.
