Third Training Check: 1,625 / 1,210 After Taxes /w 415 per diem included, health insurance 65 deduction

After training there is a transition to reserve pay that results in lower pay for a month or so (I don't know the details I just work here) so I'll skip to my first "regular" reserve checks.

Third? Reserve Check: 1,420 / 950 After Taxes /w 0 per diem included, health insurance/401K 170 deduction

Fourth? Reserve Check: 1,600 / 1,100 After Taxes /w 170 per diem included, health insurance/401K 170 deduction

Each quarter or so you also get a performance bonus, they're somewhere around 200 each time.

W2 said ~58,000 taxable for the first year

Hope this helps! (and hold onto that sign on bonus)
Thank you! That's extremely helpful! Just one more question- when you say check I assume envoy pays every two weeks? So for instance your third and fourth reserve check are a monthly total of about $2150/ net pay (not including per diem)? Same with training or were those checks just monthly?

As Skip above said, each paycheck is bi-monthly. At Envoy per diem and overtime are only added to the end of the month check, so the mid month check is pretty much always half of your monthly reserve (minus any time lost due to dropping/trading lower time trips below your 72 hours). Of course this doesn't happen much on reserve. I believe per diem was added to both checks during training though.

Negative. We used to get paid 24/7 per diem and 75 hours as new hires in training. That got slashed in one of our concessionary contracts a few years ago. 64 hours of pay per month and 16 hours of per diem per day as a new hire in training until you complete IOE.

That has been in the contact for a long time. It was not a recent change.

Nope, that’s been in the contract since before 2006. Probably from the 1998(could be wrong on the year) contract of even before that.

Same here. I remember it being 75 & 24 when I was new and took a hit in pay once on rsv from losing the 24/7 per diem. I could've sworn it changed in the BK.
