Bonus and FO take home pay?
I'm considering making the jump from a corporate pilot to Envoy, but I would have to take a decent pay cut to do so. Just trying to figure out if financially I can make it work.
Can any new FO hires tell me what their net pay on your signing bonus (either $15,000 for E175 or $22,100 for legacy) was and what their take home is on their first few paychecks (monthly)?

Depends where your residence is
First chunk of sign on is 13.5 in FL but like 8.8 in NYC.
Schoolhouse paychecks aren't horrible, like 1500 before deductions
Guestimated first reserve paychecks are in the 800ish ballpark after deductions

I live in TX so luckily no State income tax. I thought you got paid normal monthly guarantees in training and reserve ($38 for 75 hrs), is that not true?

Every two weeks during training I take away about $1,300 after taxes. From the $17K signing bonus (175er) I took away about $9k, but I was also a cadet so I took some bonuses while I was still instructing.

EMB 145 Sign On Bonus + Legacy Bonus
Indiana Taxes Single/No Dependents
Sign on: 17,100 / 10,950 After Taxes
Legacy: 5,000 / 3,180 After Taxes
First Training Check: 1,800 / 1500 After Taxes /w 500 per diem included, no deductions
Second Training Check: 1,620 / 1,350 After Taxes /w 415 per diem included, no deductions
Third Training Check: 1,625 / 1,210 After Taxes /w 415 per diem included, health insurance 65 deduction
After training there is a transition to reserve pay that results in lower pay for a month or so (I don't know the details I just work here) so I'll skip to my first "regular" reserve checks.
Third? Reserve Check: 1,420 / 950 After Taxes /w 0 per diem included, health insurance/401K 170 deduction
Fourth? Reserve Check: 1,600 / 1,100 After Taxes /w 170 per diem included, health insurance/401K 170 deduction
Each quarter or so you also get a performance bonus, they're somewhere around 200 each time.
W2 said ~58,000 taxable for the first year
Hope this helps! (and hold onto that sign on bonus)
