Default MEC Chair recall vote

How do we go about getting Sam recalled? It appears he is on AP to flow. It’s pathetic frankly how he is selling us down the river....

Well, some else will have to answer your question, mine will be shaky. I agree with you though.

Last time we had a recall set, Zach flipped his vote in closed session, and went from fo rep to his current title in short time.

Can you be specific with your issues? No action? Wrong action?

Lack of action, no communication. If the company is unwilling to negotiate then SP ought to make that clear. He needs to tell us that the company is against negotiating to match current pay for the regional industry and remind us so that when we go to work, we know that we are working for a company that doesnt respect us or value our contributions beyond cleaning out the ORD crew room...

Reality is painful sometimes....The company and ALPA don’t care if you stay or go. So why bother taking up valuable time to communicate with you? I’m of the opinion our CEO has been dead for months but that memo hasn’t made it out either. As far as pay; remember AA mainline was the worst paid among the majors for a long time. AAG has far more interest in keeping AA pilots somewhat satisfied but at the minor leagues...not on their radar. I would not believe any rumors or be hopeful we have Endeavor pay coming. Crudely stated....senior management types get their rocks off and make more money being staffed while paying less then their competition. If you look at it from this perspective, it all makes sense. My advise....forget about it, do your job to the minimum, make your life as comfortable as possible and get out to anything bigger and better. Thinking about it will only eat you up from the inside out.

A recall would do nothing unless we have someone to take his place. Every rep is compromised at this time. If he gets recalled or when he even flows their is just going to be one of his Stooges elected In his place.

And shortly after that the two Sam blamed for organizing the recall ended up fired.....
