For the purposes of maximizing days off, should a pilot select DTS and SLIDE?
The way I read the contract, doing both will allow any conflicting trips to be covered by slide, and (if that’s not possible), dropped at the pilots option.
Also, what RF should be sent to relay your preference?

Don't slide.They will slide your vacation block to cover a trip so you are unable to DTS both sides.
