The vast majority of people trying to be pilots are white males, so there's that. Not that there's a selection bias, it's just what the pool of applicants is mostly comprised of.

People have the freedom to make their own career choice and this is evident accross many fields. IE most nurses are women. Etc​​

Has nothing to do with any kind of bias or special privilege.

Nah, they range from 12-15k I believe. Pan Am Miami always had a special on B737 and A320 type ratings.
