Really if you're commuting to DTW Endeavor is a no brainer.

Only if you're prepared to spend a year or more in NYC.

While making truly top of the industry wages.
At Envoy you still have a good chance of spending time in NY

No it isnt everything but is sure solves a lot of problems and if you are going to be commuting regardless, why not make more of it.

I’m this business money and pay can fluctuate over time. 9E may be the best paying now but that could easily change. He just doesn’t want to get stuck as a lifer at a regional, and the WOs offer a way out, a path to a legacy carrier. Envoy and PSA are your best bets I think.

That doesn't really hold water. We only flow if AA is hiring. If the music stops, it stops for us too.

And how often does that happen, there’s only a hiring freeze in August because of the MD 80 retirement. Wow, only a month, big deal. AA will be hiring for quite a while expect since they are the airline impacted the most from retirements.

Seriously? What happened 18 years ago? If anything of that scale happens again whether it's economical, political, natural or any combination thereof, the same thing will happen. Everyone on the top two thirds of the seniority lists better get comfortable with where they're at. Hiring will stop and the airlines will let the retirements do their downsizing for them.

I remember what happened then, crystal. I’ll make a simple point. If anything like that happens again, then everyone suffers. At least our master seniority list moves extremely rapidly. If that happened then SKW and Republic would be forced to close bases and deal with that mess that follows
