Leather jacket from Mexico
 

Anyone have an “Envoy” leather jacket from Mexico? I recall being in AGU and the FAs talking about the leather store not far from the hotel. Didn’t go then, but wondering if it’s worth trying to get a trade to get down there.

Not sure if they make to order or off the rack. I know they said you could get “uniform” jacket cheap, but would like some more first hand info.

So I got the Cali delivered last week and tried it on. My first impression was it’s pretty flimsy and not worth $43. I can see daylight through the fabric when I hold it up. It also looks like it’ll stretch out easily after a few washes. The V neck isn’t really deep and rides up my neck and covers my tie after 2 minutes of wearing it. I sent it back and exchanged it for the Maryland. I just received it and am much happier. It is only slightly thicker than the Cali and not super heavy like I thought. The V neck is deeper too.

The pen holder on the left arm is neat. I wish it had elbow pads and you have to fold the sleeves up to make cuffs. I chose Navy and it's really dark so I don’t think it matters what color you chose. I’m glad I ordered the next size up because it’s fits me nicely over my shirt & tie. My blazer is 42R and I got an XL.

Has anyone ordered the Krete sweater from Cut above? I’ve been looking for one since I can’t get the twinhill sweater. Also does anyone know if the black or navy would be closer to our uniform color?

I'm not Envoy, so I can't speak to the color matching. It's solid black (the black one) for whatever that's worth. Construction is great. Thicker than their knit sweaters, definitely keeps you warm. Worth the money.

I was just in DFW Crew Outfitters and they now have a zip up sweater. Anyone have any experience with that one?

It doesn’t look near as good as the cut above one IMO.

I’m ready to hear some reviews on the fit of the Cut Above Krete
