Either way, I am pretty sure everyone is getting it free this year due to all the issues.

I'll give it 12-24 hours before he gets a letter.

I agree. AAG has issues with the last 2 and it’s not like they changed their mind.

Yes it doesn’t cost anything, and your GIVING YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD TO A THIRD PARTY ENTITY. Not only is that a violation of FM1, he may be a nice guy and all but if he’s reckless with jetnet and DECS information that’s bad news.

There’s no way the company approved his app. Maybe they approved his “vision” (a typo he so eloquently neglected to type out correctly). One got shut down, then other got blocked access. Any one who connects to Sabre is getting whacked, so I don’t trust any apps that connect with Sabre or DECS. It makes sense cause they’re not official AAG

just got off the phone with the guy that runs the site. They’re uploading the new version this Friday, and will be beta testing this weekend. Should be available to everyone next week. So far, he says it is still approved by the company. I was locked out of my account, this is due to them stopping all renewals. Just gotta call and get him to reactivate your account. We shall see next week

First, AAG didn't kill QT, Envoy CS did. Regarding third party programs other than QT or elogsite, I don't know the story about the other programs.

Second, the original version of elogsite built logooks from pay sheets so as far as I know, it didn't need DECS access. Of course, I haven't seen the new version so I don't know about that.

Third, I too have been frustrated with elogsite. Particularly the whole email him manually and nothing ever happens thing.

Fourth, if he DOES get it working, it's not like we have better options.

A pay sheet decoder would be great.

I was going to build one but then someone else said they were and I didn't want to compete.

If someone can make a paysheet decoder that spits out an excel file that would be amazing

I’ve used crew121 pay sheet decoder and it made a mess of my log. It was all out of order and it counted deadheads as flying time. Wouldn’t trust them again going forward.

Speaking of, if you've used elogsite in the past, you need to check for deadheads being logged. Seems like one DH every three months or so would show up as an actual flight. I noticed that a some months matched my 7V monthly times in DECS exactly and some didn't so I investigated why and the first month I looked at had given me time in something like Flight 1024... and if you work here, you know we don't fly those flight numbers. Went back and look at my trip for that week and, sure enough I deadheaded on AA. I deleted the line and then the month totals matched. Had to go back a check the previous months. Was easy since I caught it before 12 months had gone by so I could compare the 7V monthly totals and there were only a few flights. But still...

Yeah this app is kinda legit so far. It’s in beta but it looks really good. Imported my pay sheet no problem!!

I am trying to get a final backup from elogsite, but I can’t log in without renewing, which I’d rather not do. I’ve asked Justice a few times with no luck.

What’s the best logbook site out there for us now where I can get years of envoy flights added If I’m unable to get this backup??

All deadhead logging issues were resolved a few weeks ago. If your still having issues jump on chat or send me an email ;)

Curious, how does http://www.crosscheckhub.com/
actually work? How far back can it go to get the flights and times?
does it have access to DECS

I think it works off of your pay sheets.

It's very important to point out they're in beta right now but they seem to be working hard on getting the kinks out. Quick to respond to issues and they seem to know their stuff.

That said:

You can import your data from prior electronic logbooks and you can upload your paysheets yourself for it to decode. It does NOT log in to your employee jetnet account and sync paysheets for you as elogsite did. Someone else has mentioned another way to log that I haven't got to yet so I don't know how that works.

It does some other interesting things like track your flight experience progress, what states you've been too and how often, and if you upload your schedule it will show you generic weather at your upcoming destinations and such. I like what they're trying to do but it's not "there" yet. For me, there has been some bugs and that's slowing me down getting fully caught up in their system so I'm sure there's more to it than I've seen so far. But they've been quick to work them out when I submit a support request.

TexAg11 06-20-2020 03:12 PM

I’ll throw in my 2 cents because I was in the position of trying to get away from elogsite and onto something new. Decided to try out crosscheckhub because they aren’t charging while it’s in beta so why not?

Uploaded my elogsite CSV files no problem. They don’t log in for you or access decs at all. I don’t think anyone has that capability right now. What I did was log into epays, go to a pay sheet and save it as a pdf. You can then upload that pdf and all your flights are logged in a matter of seconds. So once a month you spend 2 minutes keeping it up to speed...and epays has the last 3 years of pay sheets so no worries if you miss a month or few. So far so good imo. I understand Crew121 works the same.

Anyone know If Elogsite is active anymore? Been trying the last few days to contact someone so I can download my hours from the website but no response.

I gave up after about 10 emails.

If you need hours email RN and he can assemble a zip file with everything you've ever done.
