I believe this is correct.

Obviously, if this thing goes on for a year or more then yes the company will probably ask for concessions. But I think all the airlines are in a wait and see state right now. Most of the CEOs have even put out statements thinking this will only last a few months. What’s the point in asking for concessions now, when in a few months it’s very possible that hiring will be ramped right back up to where it was a few weeks ago and every new hire has options again? There’s no point even from a management perspective.

Come back to this thread near the end of May or middle of June and if improvements still don’t look likely anytime soon... then you might need to worry. For now, I don’t think management will ask for concessions anytime soon.

Do you work here? I ask because the company sent an loa that union sent back to them because it has things in it we couldn’t accept. To me that means concessions. They might not be financial concessions but certainly could be quality of life, schedule etc.

No, he works at PSA.

So, a question for those of us that were here before LOA 13-13, how did things work when CS could withhold open time?

Schedule type items I could see since all of the departure boards are 80% red in all the airports across the country right now. l don’t think pay will be looked at for at least another few months. I could also see leaves of absence being offered that are less attractive than what mainline was offered and the union is probably trying to get something similar.

Well, the company is hitting us up for major concessions and offering absolutely nothing in return.

That’s great and thanks and all but how about you offer up advice to your PSA group.

We have no guarantee of when they will reestablish the letter. In my opinion we have to turn this letter down. We are dealing with RATS

None of what I said was advice. Never said yay or nay to anything. Just offering my perspective on how I think things will play out. But you’re right, where are my manners? I forgot no one ever comments on another company’s thread. Excuse me. Maybe if I would have posted all doom and gloom like everyone else you would be more accepting.

Basically the the company can determine any day they want to block the pick up of OT. So all OT would be blocked unless staffing was critical.

No, and not saying you’re hiding who you work for, just be more accepting if you let people know up front, ESPECIALLY because of who you work for and where you’re posting. There is a bit of history with some issues...
