I completely understand the desire to mess with this creep's schedule the same way he has done to others but I think the real solution is convincing the company to do the right thing, as impossible as that is.

Won't it be construed as the company caused this by changing the rules on quick trade, and therefore causing this?

He is lol. I mean, has to be impartial at least on these forums as they progress with whatever was discussed at the meeting yesterday. Sadly the minutes are still not up, (no surprise) so I have no idea what exactly was talked about.

I agree, I am not going to stoop to his level as that only proves I am willing to be as distasteful/unethical as he is. The solution isn't two wrongs but rather proper procedure through the union, if there is one. Just my take on it at least.

Company 100% caused it. There is no reason for the system to allow manipulation of others schedules. We all want QT back, but it has nothing to do with Quicktrade being down except that practically it would be harder to steal stuff (but not impossible) if legitimate bidders were able to use it.

We're already up to two wrongs, or maybe 3, 5? Not really keeping score, all I know is that at this point the company has done more damage than the perpetrator by punishing the victim and implicitly condoning the perp's actions.

I bid a line of time (lol JK permanent reserve, but work with me here). Unless I consent to a trade, that's what I'm going to work. They can fire me if they want. If the ABILITY to change things on my schedule in DECS constitutes PERMISSION in the opinion of the company, what's to stop a check airman or someone else with deep DECS from unloading all their crap on me every month even if I never HIY? The fact that they wouldn't? Apparently some people here would.

Fire the BF.

I agree with everything you said, my point was that I wasn't going to go and snoop his schedule and try and dump stuff into it like he did. I am not condoning anything he did, just the opposite.

Exclamation Mod Input

[MOD INPUT]

Do not out, identify, or reference the names of otherwise anonymous line pilots on APC. This includes initials, phonetic spelling, creative spelling, etc. "Blue Falcon" is permissible in this case.

Do not harass, stalk, or advocate harassing/stalking people on APC.

Word from on high, we will need to ban violators now, no further warnings.

I'm reluctantly leaving this thread open because it does seem to be a legit issue worthy of discussion, but either comply with the rules or don't post.

Well I don't know why you took my post down. It definitely wasn't Barack Obama.

Unrelated to this and was about something else entirely, a while back I posted something along the lines of "I can't believe the mods are allowing this". I was threatened with a ban "if I continued". I took that to mean criticism of moderation of any kind isn't allowed here.

Just FWI before anyone gets on their soapbox.
