E-145 Sim #1 at GSW is going where?
I was walking around the sim bays at GSW yesterday, and saw that E-145 Simulator #1 has been disassembled. The wraparound screen for the visual display has been placed on the floor, the main body is all wrapped up in a blue tarp, and the bottom third of the exterior wall had been removed from the building. It's obviously leaving for some other destination, does anybody know where it is headed?

Heard from a furlough recall who did e175 trng in CLT, all us air sims dismantled and moving to dfw and all envoy sim moving to clt. Take it for what's it worth.

Great, the CLT hotel is 90% less moldy.

All wrong. Both 145 sims at GSW are moving to another location in the DFW area. I'm not at liberty to disclose exactly where at this time.
|
I heard it was to ATL but CLT makes more sense
|
Supposedly one of them will be at Avenger in DFW.
|
Was at avenger 2 dfw Friday. There was a 145 sim in the bay. Not sure who’s it was. That may or may not help.

145 sims are moving to ATL.

You must be getting your info from@Cujo665. See my above posts. I can now say Avenger 2 DFW is the new location. Was there yesterday. 1st sim install in process after the move.
ha, you’re funny. A management stooge that comes here to divide the pilots pitting one against the other to keep the union weaker. Everybody knows your game. Your ilk has been a failure since before the bankruptcy, demanding concessions - a third time - on the cusp of a pilot shortage, so ignorant of the industry state that you were back within four months giving things back and making improvements because the contract you demanded couldn’t attract pilots, which is exactly what the union told you would happen. You closed both NYC and MIA in spite of the union saying it was a mistake. The union even told you you’d be back in NY within a year. It was 13 months when it reopened. You’ve been wrong on every major issue the past decade. You’ve got the worst pilot contract in the industry. Most carriers have either limited or outright eliminated airport standby, but your managers are so inept that they can’t run an airline without 1/2 the pilots on reserve. JE should have been fired a decade ago. Learn from Republic, they don’t do airport standby at all and run just fine, in fact they run better because their pilots don’t hate their managers and will actually help instead of hide when SHTF. You can keep throwing money at the problem, but the problem is the miserable QOL caused by this mismanagement (you). tell us which one of them you are? I don’t hide, most know who I am, but you hide behind your screen name trying to instigate trouble in the pilot group. They know your game. Either ID yourself and speak with conviction and authority, or just shut up. The pilots deserve better than being manipulated by a management stooge hiding behind a screen name. |

Go over to the ACMI forums and dispense your wisdom there. Anyone at Envoy who has the slightest bit of sense just ignores you and shakes their head when they see your sad sack posts. The Envoy pilots deserve better than to have a washed up ex employee trying to whip up a frenzy against his former company. A company mind you that isn't doing anything other than giving these guys one of the best career opportunities of their lifetimes. |

The only frenzy is in pilots beating a path out of Envoy, otherwise you wouldn’t need to offer $150k retention bonuses if they stay and flow to AA. Face it, the brain trust over at AAG isn’t much better, they’ve taken a world class airline and walmarted it to the point that it looks like a big LCC instead of a legacy carrier. The exodus to anyplace, rather than waiting to flow tells everything a pilot needs to know about Envoy. we never stopped flying during the pandemic. We never furloughed. I compare my schedules to guys in my class that flowed, and even to guys that flowed well before me, and not one has said I’d be better off at AA, not a single one. You can keep your 2, 3, 4 & 5 leg days; I’ll keep my 1 and done schedule. Gus actually answer the phone when the company calls around here. Most of us are happy to help if they need us for something. Probably because we are treated like human beings instead of a part number in a machine. you’ll learn someday. Envoy had/has the best pilot group in the regional industry. They have to be to put up with your never ending crap. Stop hiding behind your screen name stirring up trouble. |

And I say to you the same thing Cujo does. Most know you to be a management troll that hides behind a screen name. You serve the same KoolAid that “he that shall not be named” did and while you may have knowledge of goings on, you spin it with such rainbows and pixie dust that no one believes you.

Insane. |
Does no one at AA find it strange a management employee is trolling the forums for like 10 years? Psych eval?
|
He/she gets paid to troll

600-800ish seniority |

600-800ish seniority The majority that I have seen leaving are mid to high seniority FOs, with 1200-2000 hours but still don’t have seniority to upgrade. The next bid that should be within a few weeks will see how many of those could hold captain. The range of what people are leaving for is all over the place. Back to helicopters, MEDEVAC and fractional and charter as well as the ACMI and ULLCs. The bonus isn’t going to keep very many at Envoy that haven’t already decided it’s American or bust, but it does reward them. Bottom line is people will leave when they can get something that works better for them. Just depends where they are in life and on the seniority list as what is considered better. |

To follow up, 800 from the March seniority list was 770 in August. Although, the August list didn’t include many who left during the month. But 30 total includes a number of retirements in that time much closer to the top, so that still doesn’t make the numbers in 600-800 leaving as “plenty” in my book.

how psychotic he is. Pilots leaving for airlines in droves directly falls on him and is a reflection of his leadership. |

how psychotic he is. Pilots leaving for airlines in droves directly falls on him and is a reflection of his leadership. Honestly it’s more AA than it is Envoy. The ******show that is envoy basically accelerates that slightly. |
I would even say it is supply and demand, industry wide.

Why did we get kicked out of GSW?

Because your envoy

I'm sorry. This is the Envoy forum. I'm not sure anyone comes here for information on where a lowball ACMI has their training center.
Good opportunity for Envoy guys to meet and get internals from Spirit and Omni. They’ll have to increase the bonus money some more now that they’re giving you a sim facility with other carriers. Get the heck out of Envoy as soon as you can. legacy-LCC-ACMI hiring has picked up and over 623 we’re hired last month at just the big six not including the ACMI- LCC. it’s a great time to be a pilot…. Especially if you’re not a management stooge. LOL |
