Any idea if I will qualify for captain’s pay and 121 longevity match? I have a little over 2000 hours of 121 SIC from my time at 9L but it was 12 years ago. Either way I can’t wait to start class.

Do you have a CJO? Class date already? If so when? When did you apply? How long did it take to hear back? Did you have to interview?

I do have a class date but I don’t want to jinx it so I won’t say when (not a crazy wait though). I applied middle of May and interviewed about three weeks later. Took about a month after that to secure a class date.

Long call won’t be implemented until October schedule, but you can be certain it will go senior and depending on staffing will likely cause some pilots that are more senior to bid reserve instead of a line. Up side of that is someone senior enough to hold a line that bids reserve will free up a line for someone lower.

Haven't posted in years, but I was curious if there is a sim portion to the interview at Envoy?

I’m not sure how long call will work at Envoy, but at Mesa, the long call reserves are the first ones they use on reserve. I bid it and got it a couple times during the Covid era thinking I could just stay home in Louisiana on reserve. Wrong! Every single time before my duty days started, I was assigned a trip usually a day or two before my reserve days started. It’s basically like having a line that you have no say so in. It’s not all that it’s made out to be, at least at Mesa, l
The upside at Envoy is bottom of the list commuters will likely proffer for the overnights and anything juicy gets appropriated as OT. Envoy also can’t assign those trips earlier than the day prior anyway, after 1700 when people have had a chance to proffer. |

Envoy will undoubtedly make it as painful as they can as well. Wouldn’t want any QOL improvements to actually make your quality of life better!

That’s about the only good thing we have at Mesa. We can refuse it with no punitive actions. |

Double edge sword my friend. Some might stay for the money, but if you can’t be home to enjoy the pay bump might as well bounce.
I know exactly what you’re talking about brother, we have 11 off at Mesa and I’m a commuter and I feel like I live in hotels, airports and airplanes and visit my wife and home a couple days a month. My wife says she feels like she lives alone. Sometimes makes me question why I do this job. Seems like no one in this job, especially regionals, gets enough time off. |

Have y’all gone to a minimum 12 days off per month schedule yet? It says so on the recruitment website.

PSA vs ENVOY
Good Afternoon everyone
I have CJO for both PSA and ENVOY same class dates, unsure what to choose... Does someone have insight on the training timeline for both PSA and Envoy? Thanks |

Could someone comment on how Envoy’s schedule tends to look these days? Is it mostly 4-day trips? Are there any 3-day and 5-day trips in the mix? I’m most interested in the DFW and MIA bases. Just looking to know how the schedule has changed, now that Envoy is increasing its minimum days off.
And how about reserve schedule? Thanks! |

And how about reserve schedule? Thanks! 5 on 2-3 off reserve Pretty much all 4 days. |

Is there an option to turn down the bonus money without having to pay it back and then deal with recouping the taxes taken out from the IRS?

Got it, thank you! But I imagine you don’t get used on all 5 days of reserve, right? Cuz trips are 4 days long and you’re guaranteed 12 days off per month?

you’ll get one overnight off some other guys 4 day to take you into day 5 if you’re a captain. Or you’ll sit unused all 5 days if you’re an FO.

Any idea, please, how many hours junior reserve CA's are crediting most months?
RE: training pay... I seem to recall reading somewhere that it's 62 hours a month... but for a DEC, is that at the FO rate or one's "longevity" CA rate? Many thanks. |

Is there a deadline by which Envoy has to implement their long call reserve, trip/duty rig, 12 days off minimum? Or have some of these already gone into effect?

Has anyone been very recently hired for Envoy as an FO? I’m getting ready to submit my application next month. But I keep on hearing that people get accepted, but never start their training? Or something like that

Yep. I got a CJO less than a week before they raised pay (so in May). Still no class date. I'm headed to Republic instead

What’s the policy on Canada flying for non-vaxxed pilots? Is it still just bid to avoid?

What is the captain's review board? My recruiter said I will be getting scheduled for it soon but that was a couple of weeks ago.
