I counted 29 Envoy aircraft deliveries so far this year on Planespotters. Envoy plans to keep hiring as many as they can manage for the rest of this year and into next.

I expect eliminating Orientation and paid CTP was a business decision. The pilot hiring market has changed dramatically, and if they can save money and still compete, they will. They do plan how many pilots are in each Indoc based on how many they think they can get through simulator training without significant delays.

I was assigned an orientation date of June 6, 2024. I received a call today that this event has been cancelled and they will be in touch regarding my indoc date. I have already completed my ATP multi written.

Sorry to hear that. How long ago did you interview/recieve the CJO? I am self funding my ATP/CTP next month and plan to send them an email as soon as that is complete. I've heard their interviews are scheduled months out though.

What kind of hire are you? DEC, Cadet, high time FO, street FO?

5/9 orientation confirmed

I interviewed 3/14, CJO on week later with a now canceled May 9th orientation. No word on whats next and not sure what to do as an off the street FO. Everyone says they are still hiring like crazy, but would assume High time FO are taking precedent over everyone right now.

lol weird, do you have prior 121 time? Myself and 4 other street FOs were told orientation was cancelled for May. 2 others that I know in the june orientation got the call today theirs had been cancelled, both off the street FOs

Hi guys and gals. I am a high time, off street f/o (interviewed in early April) and received the call today. I initially got June 6th as orientation date and I was told that the company is reverting to previous procedure which pilots joined indoc classes right away. I was also told to expect an email in the upcoming weeks to get offered class dates once they are confirmed.

Street FO. Interviewed in late March with written done. Currently flying for a Part 135 operation.
